I am presently on a pill(contraceptive) and I have heard that if my man can take the same contraceptive pill that I am taking it won't be effective I might fall pregnant. Is it true or...

Most pills are estrogen based, and prevent conception in women. Estrogens may effect your man somewhat, but it won't make your pill any more or less effective.

N.B. Even when the pill is taken according to instructions, it is not 100% effective.

I think the realy question is why is he taking the pill??

And second this is false him taking the pill does not effect your body. The pill causes your own body to stop releasing eggs that allow you to get pregnant. It has nothing to do with the male counter part nor could him taking it change the effect that it has.

Besides the fact that he could potentially grow breasts which in this case might be a contraceptive all in itself:)

condoms are 97% accurate... the pill is about 82%, together it is highly unlikely you will get pregnant. However, there is a slim chance and always is.. The condom could break or such... so... there you go
