If someone is flying to Heathrow from Frankfurt, will they be able to bring normal hand baggage or just the "see through" bag ?

I would expect the hand luggage limitiations will apply to all flights coming into and leaving the UK, but I would ring up the airline you are flying with or ring the airport you are flying from to check..

A lot of inbound flights have no hand baggage restrictions but you will have to check with your specific airport.

I flew from Madrid to Heathrow the day after and was allowed to carry hand luggage. In fact there was nobody on customs either end but plenty of police with machine guns.

I had lighters and wallet, bottled water and things.

of direction you may take a swarm of bees in a hive on your hand luggage. airlines around the international enable it. The bees in simple terms loooooove flying and the honey they make is soooooooo a lot extra suited whilst they're airborne!

Far quicker, far more efficient to contact the airline that you´re going to be flying with, don´t you think? After all, if you´re confused about what you´ve heard so far, then don´t you think we all might be too??
