Giving people hope. Encouraging people to see the good in themselves and in others.

Helping God by living your life as an example of his love. Feeding hungry people. Cheering up a person who is sad. Visiting someone who is lonely.

Giving a non-believer something to think about by making them see how joyful and willing to help YOU are.

And most importantly, not adding anything else negative to this grieving world.

1 Timothy 6:12  Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
2 Timothy 4:7  I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

Every day we struggle through our lives trying to resist the evil that surrounds us. We "fight the good fight" with the faith in our LORD to guide us through our difficulties in our lives.

Hope this helps.

GOD bless

Flesh vs Spirit

I would rather be fighting the good fight than the bad fight..The devil is already defeated and we are already conquerors though Christ Jesus. We will in the end see His face and we will all be judged according to our deeds. SO, we will never be free of sin but we sure can lessen the list for judgement by repenting..just my opinion though...

Paul said on his death bed in his 2nd letter to his son timothy, that he had fought the good fight, he had finished the race he had kept the faith, Listen carefully, he did not say he won it. It is often said about Christians that they are hypocrates, well.. in a sense we are, no Christian is perfect, it is not about being perfect, perfection has been won for us on the Cross by Christ.
We as Christians are to continue to strive to be perfect, and to continue to fight sin, it is the fight against sin that defines us, will we fall? yes. will we continue to sin? yes, the difference between a false Christian and a real one is that a real one does not make excuses about sin by saying that he is saved and going to heaven and has a lic. to sin, As Christians we will suffer trials and tribulations, we as Christians are to welcome these things as it is written In James Chp 1 vs 1 Jam 1:1 ¶ James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ,
¶ to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad,

¶ greeting.

Jam 1:2 ¶ My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Jam 1:3 Knowing [this], that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

The good fight is the one that we fight for the kingdom of Jesus Christ; against evil and lies. My favorite verse in describing our "weapons" is this one: "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but spiritual; mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds". What we fight against, the bible says, is not flesh and blood. It is spiritual wickedness in high places. Our weapons are prayer, love, humility and complete servitude to God so that He can use us any way He wishes to reach others for Jesus Christ.
