When 9/11 happened we was all in shock and aww wondering how this could happen.. after we all started to calm down and look at what had happened we wanted answers and we wanted them now.. everyone wanted Justice for what had happened to the people that had lost their lives in the planes, twin towers, and in DC. But now everyone is yelling that they want our troops out of Iraq and home.. Yes it would be nice to have our guys and gals at home but we have to first defeat the head of the snake before we can say that we are Safe.. IRAN is the Head it controls alot of the things that is going on over there in the Middle East.. So If we take our guys and gals out of they we are wide open for more attacks! WE need to stand beside our guys not infront of them so we can keep our freedom.. George W. Bush is doing a good job, but can inprove on something also BUT he is just human...

I have to remind you that 4yrs ago Bush said that Iraq was the head of the snake and that it had weapons of mass destruction and that it was a threat. After the invasion, all that turned out to be not true. So why do you believe what the American government says about Iran. Iran is not a threat to America, yes it does hate America and American foreign policy and also hates Israel. But it is not a threat to America.

I will quote from the article I am providing the link for(it was written by a Harvard professor):

"There is some truth in this, but Iran’s nuclear ambitions do not pose a direct threat to the US. If Washington could live with a nuclear Soviet Union, a nuclear China or even a nuclear North Korea, it can live with a nuclear Iran. And that is why the Lobby must keep up constant pressure on politicians to confront Tehran. Iran and the US would hardly be allies if the Lobby did not exist, but US policy would be more temperate and preventive war would not be a serious option."

Another thing that you need to keep in mind is that America would be making a 10times bigger mistake if it attacked Iran for the following reasons:

*Oil prices will go up by more than 30% as Iran provides a lot of oil to the world.
* Iran, unlike Iraq has a functioning army who is 10 times more powerfull than the Iraqi army
* Iran Controls the Shea in Iraq and that is why only the Sunnis(only 25% of the population) attack the US troops. If Iran decided to use the Shea card in Iraq, I can assure you that the US would be out of there in a few days.
* A war on Iran would be more costly to America than the war on Iraq and would further increase America's debt which is alreay at record levels.
* A war on Iran would probably reintroduce the draft because the number of troops required would be ar least 600000 and the US can do that with out reintroducing the draft.
* A war on Iran would increase Anti-American sentimenets in the Arab and muslim world and would result in an increase in terrorism and possibly another 9/11

Whoa whoa.., Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 (so says the 9/11 comission report), we invaded them to get rid of their WMD (which they didn't have). Afghanistan was where the al-qaida training camps were, and we got rid of the taliban like we should have. We probably would have bin laden too if our great president hadn't diverted our troops into that mess of Iraq. So many mistakes were made in that campaign it's ridiculous. Not enough troops (despite generals warning), not enough armor for the troops, disbanding the iraqi army (over generals protest again), no weapons found (hell, they should have planted weapons there), abu gharab prison... Looking to Iran, we can't even handle Iraq. Besides, Iran isn't the #1 problem right now.

It's pakistan. Pakistan who will have enough material for 40-50 nukes per year (thanks to US assistance), starting 2007 (yeah, that's only 5 months from now). Pakistan, where the guys who were going to blow up the planes flying out of england came from, and where the guys who blew up the trains in mumbai came from. Pakistan, a muslim state, a nuclear state, is one assassination away from becoming a major enemy of the USA (they are our ally because their unpopular dictator is on good terms with us).
