It has already begun. There are many denominations who are leaving the inerrancy of Scripture and basing their "Christianity" on cultural mandates and what they "feel" is right. God will judge and purify His church before He judges the world, and that process is going on now.

Jesus say His sheep (elect) will never fall away from Him. He also said he'd come at a time no one is expecting, but everyone is saying the end of the world will be in the next 10yrs or something. As for your question the only ones who will fall away are those who's faith is not genuine (not real true absolute faith). I think it happens all the time but when the anti-christ comes I think cowardly "believers" will drop out by the tens of thousands.

Yes, from the things I have read in the Bible about it: here are just a few chapter and verses from the Bible about anti-Christ
Daniel 12:11
Matthew 24:4-5
2 Thessalonians 2:1-11
2 John 7-11
Read this then make up your own mind..you might need to read the verse before and after to get a better understanding.....

Yes!
Most of the churches today don't know what there doing. Many members especially the young are now saying "this is BS". I can't blame them.
When a man comes saying goodly things and preforming real miracles many will follow.
A man with a hindered times the personality of Bill C. looks better than Bill C. and can do wondrous things, who but the Strongest in the faith will not follow!

There has been an apostasy going on since the last of the apostles died around 100 A.D. The apostles warned that there would be a falling away from the truth nearly 2000 years ago.

There won't be falling away from faith. The signs ahead will strengthen the faith of mankind. The anti-Christ will again lose.

The falling away has already happened. Look at how many atheists and non-Christians are on just this one website.
It will only get worse. But our lives only have one purpose-to stand up against the world and hold on fast to our Christianity or to give up and let everyone else's arguments and ideas kill the hope that would bring us to life.

There will be a falling away after the coming of the antichrist because people will get sucked in by his garbage. Many will accept him as messiah. The only way to know if it's Jesus is to see the nailprints in His hands and feet.

there will be a lot of falling away before but much more after the Antichrist comes. Jesus said he was the last prophet and when he returns he will come out of the clouds with trumpets blaring and all will see it. but many do not know that and will believe the Antichrist.

Before:
"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." (2 Thessalonians 2:3 - 4 KJV)
