Everything that exists was created by God; therefore, the laws of nature are God's laws. There's no way to "dis-connect" one from the other.

GOD made the laws of nature. If the human gets out of hand, the laws of nature come into effect.
You will appreciate nature is mightier than all of our powers and if we do not take control of violations of laws, GOD then as a last resort takes the laws of nature and bring them into effect.
That is why laws are essential in our lives and adherence should be strict and firm.

According to the Bible, God instituted all the laws of the universe, gravity, etc.
So yes, he is the father of nature. Read Job chapter 38-44 for some awesome displays of what God does with nature.

The law of nature is His nature. Nature performs on His commands. What it matters is the ultimate wisdom worked behind the creation. No one can define Him perfectly as His wisdom is there in everything visible and invisible.

Science tells you about the laws of nature. God is described in religion.
Science is based on reason (critical rational thinking), Religion is based on faith (blind acceptance.)
The two cannot be connected.
