Okay people get offended when quoting scripture, but since you asked about Jesus being God's son I will show you scriptures.
John chapter one verse one
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." The "Word" refers to Jesus (v17), the only begotten of the Father who became flesh and dwelt among us (v14). This affirms that Jesus is a separate individual from the Father (He was with God), and yet He Himself possesses Deity (He was God). Note that the context affirms both Jesus' Deity and His humanity: God became flesh and dwelt among us.
John chapter 14 verses 6 through 7
6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him."
The next scripture shows that a son was born with a seed planted by God
Luke chapter 1 verses 26 through 33
26 In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, 27 to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary. 28 The angel went to her and said, "Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you." 29 Mary was greatly troubled at his words and wondered what kind of greeting this might be. 30 But the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. 31 You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. 32 He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, 33 and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end."

You can follow the dead I worship the LIVING SON OF GOD.
1Th 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

God said so himself.
Mat 3:1 In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
Mat 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Mat 3:3 For this is he that was spoken of by the prophet Esaias, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.
Mat 3:4 And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
Mat 3:13 Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him.
Mat 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
Mat 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Mat 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
God spoke in a audible voice,The Holy Spirit came down in the form of a dove and Jesus stood there in PERSON=Triune God.

Christians are not ignorant.
John 1:1-15 is a great place to start. Also, try John 18:6, where Jesus refers to himself as "I AM", with the same usage as to Moses in the desert.
Jesus said "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani" in fulfillment of the words of the prophet Isaiah (I don't remember the reference off the top of my head). The reason He said that was that, at that point, Jesus was being sacrificed for the sin of the whole world...all sins committed to that time and all sin committed since that time. God can't stand the sight or smell of sin, yet God the Son became man to be able to abide in sin for the time it took to be the perfect sacrifice for sin. Man can sin, God cannot.

Well, with this kind of statement I assume you are Muslim. We, as Christians, believe the bible. That is your answer. And please don't call people ignorant and then turn around and make ignorant statements. Read the book of John, the first chapter. It indeed does say Jesus was God made flesh. The bible also calls Jesus the son of God throughout the new testament. If you reject the bible...which Muslims do, of course, that's up to you.

You asked two questions.. 1. Sure God is all powerful. He can cause a virgin to be with Child and have that Child be His Son because of that Child's flesh. 2. Jesus was quoting scripture on the cross. Take a look and see for yourself if you wish.. Palms 22.... Jim

You're going to take that one statement made by Jesus and say that He is not the Son of God? Did you read the information that went along with that one statement? Did you read all the other statements made by Jesus? You can believe what you choose, but John 3:16 say it all for me.

Jesus refers to himself as I AM.
Exodus 3:13-14 (New International Version)

13 Moses said to God, "Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, 'The God of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they ask me, 'What is his name?' Then what shall I tell them?"
14 God said to Moses, "I am who I am . [a] This is what you are to say to the Israelites: 'I AM has sent me to you.' "
John 8:58 (New International Version)

58"I tell you the truth," Jesus answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!"
I Am is one of the old testament names of God. Jesus uses that same name to refer to himself. In that act he states he is God.
A prophet is either truithful and good or a liar. He cannot be both. You have a choice. You can chose to belive him or not.
