Get an in dash dvd player, or at least an mp3 player,, cd players in cars are like black and white tellys now.

One that has an audio line in on the front..I just got an old car and I can plug in my ipod and listen to 1000's of songs instead of a few on a CD

make sure it can do multiple things, like read cd-r/rw. also there are ones that play mp3 and mp4, those can be a little pricy, when you go to pick it out, ask for a second opinion from the people who work there in that department. try to find someone who knows a lot about cd players....you dont want yours to be out of date too soon

you should try eclipse. there radio are expensive. but if u ever get in to car audio deeply. thats a great radio to have. sum of them comes with more that 5 volts per preout. anything more and u might be hard to find an amp that can handle the volts!

stay away from offbrands like explod, dual, stuff like that, stick with well known brands like pioneer, alpine, kenwood. When you buy one from a store ask the person how they feel about that brand, they will more than likely be honest with you.
