Well-defined growth on the skin, usually caused by a papillomavirus, which triggers overproduction of epidermal cells.
Touching toads will not give you warts.
Treatments: applying salicylic acid, Duct tape, cantharidin, or liquid nitrogen. Also possible: burning the wart, cutting out the wart or removing the wart with a laser. These all remove the warts, but you should see a doctor.
Plantar warts are benign (noncancerous) growths that occur on the sole (plantar surface), heel, or ball of the foot. Pressure from standing and walking often causes them to grow into deep layers of the skin.

The best way to get rid of a wart is to soak it for 15 min a day in a pan of vinegar. Many times we forgot but my daughters planters wart was still gone in 2-3 weeks. (We tried stuff from the drug store & duct tape. They didn't work)

Doctors can freeze them or burn them off. I have had success getting rid of warts using Castor oil on them. Just rub the oil on them several times a day and they disappear over a fairly short time weeks. No pain no scars, no kidding. My son used the oil on a planar wart on his foot, and it went away. I do not know why it works but it does.
