It is perfect to be 5'5" and 125 lbs.
Even according to the body mass index (BMI), you are the perfect healthy weight, and that can be inaccurate and tell people they're overweight depending on how much muscle a person has. In all my experience hearing about people's numbers, though, it does not underestimate.
My guess would be that you're anywhere between 15% and 25% body fat, which is low-normal for a woman. The disparity between numbers comes from the fact that everyone's body composition is different, even taking height and weight into account.
You're fine. At that weight and height, you're probably quite slender. Your friends and other people are not lying. You aren't fat, not by a long shot.
If you're really worried about it and not joking, then you might want to consider talking to a family member or a friend, or getting counselling. Image problems are no fun to have, and there is no point trying to fix yourself when there is nothing wrong.

What matters is how you feel. I think it's perfectly acceptable to be 125lbs. at your height. If you feel fat, you should exersize a little to feel better, maybe cut out junk food for a while. I think your friends are telling you the truth. They probably love you just the way you are.

Goodness....I wish I weighed 125lbs.!!!!!! I'm 5'1" and weigh 200lbs.
Yes, I think that that is a great weight for your height. I'm sure that you are asking close friends and family about how you look, and if you are , I am sure that they would be honest with you about your looks...or weight.
Many people look at themselves in the mirror and do not like what They see. If you are that unsure about yourself, please talk to someone you trust. I'm sure your just beautiful the way you are.

Your BMI (Body Mass Index) is 20.8, which is well within normal. Normal is 18.5-24.9. You are neither overweight nor underweight and you're just fine. If you really feel fat, see if you are eating healthy food and have a healthy amount of energy. Exercise for about 30 minutes daily. You will feel healthy that way. If you still feel bad about yourself, talk to people close to you and consider seeing a therapist, because it is very important that you keep a healthy self-image.

That is getting close to the top.. anywhere between 115 & 130 would be ideal weight.. depending on body type.. you would be considered a mesomorphic type. Meaning you have a goodly amount of muscle. Muscle has volume and weight.

Hun, you need to realize that your not fat. Im 5" flat, and used to weigh 110, everyone told me i was thin and looked good, and i thought about it soo much that i couldnt even eat anymore, i developed an ed and got down to 98 lbs. which was discusting, i snapped out of it and now im a good 125. lol im happy and healthy, you just need to open your eyes and see that you are thin and you do look good.

Yes, they're just saying that but your height/weight ratio is nothing to be ashamed of. Instead of worrying so much about what other people think you should give more credence to what you think. If you think you're fat, you're fat.
