THANKS FOR READING! I'm dating someone for a two months already and I really like him. I haven't given him sex or anything and I told him I wanted to wait til I really cared about him or/ the next time I was gonna do it had to be my boyfriend. Eventually if things are still going the same cause its really good right now I'd like a relationship. He keeps telling he doesn't want a relationship right now and he wants to see where it goes and i can understand that. so then i asked him your not into this just for a hook up correct? and hes like yeah but i dunno. he said hes not into it for a hook up but then he doesnt know whats gonna happen. we talk everyday and hang out everyday and act like were together but were not. i need ur opinion. what do you give in a dating relationship that you don't in a bf gf relationship? I'm talking about mental, physical, etc. I dont know what to do bc out of every guy i have dated this is the 1 i wanna bring my wall down w/ & im so scared that i shouldnt.

For me it would be the sex, he is telling you that he isn't ready for a relationship, so I think the answer is right before your eyes. Having a relationship means that you two are seeing each other exclusively, but to me dating means that either one of you can decide at any time to see another person and not necessarily share that fact. Dating also means that you are sort of testing the waters, whereas a relationship means that I have tested the waters and decided to settle down with this one person. I would not be physically involved with someone I am dating that says he does not want to be in a relationship right now. Remember that men love with there heads (the top or bottom one it all depends) but women love with there hearts and once you give yourself to him literally and figuratively, and he shuns you after or doesn't show that much interest afterward, you are going to feel like a foul, like you have been used. When in reality, he has told you that he is uncertain about what he feels. I think it all has to do with the C word, comittment! Just my opinion.

k here is the thing if im just dating i only expect maybe a kiss but if ive gone out with a girl like three times and it seems good then i open up to her a little like tell her some stuff about the past ask about her folks that kind of stuff. dating should not last very long per se it should be the gateway to a relationship. but i give a girlfriend many more options like she can call me alot and she has weekday privlages like dinner on a tuesday and not just a weekend thing. if im just dating its weekends only because i have a life already and im seeing if you will fit into it and can hang with my lifestyle.

In a relationship, I give my all, my sincerity and my love. Sometimes, I dun really expect that other party to do the same, just as long as both of us are comfortable in the level of our output and as long as both of us feel comfortable with each other and understand each other, we will be content.
