That was why he told me to "Shut up" today before we went to church. I felt like screaming and crying. I also felt like wanting to go to a friend's house, and called another friend twice. At that point, she yelled at me. What do you think I should do about it?

If I understand the story correctly your mom is watching a dog, your dad was asked not to let it out and he did then my answer to you is to let be what is going between your mother and father alone. One more person in the mix can stir things to much for people to know how to deal. I also can sense that you are quite emotional. Better than worry over this dog you may want to ask why you are so emotional at the moment? Then ask yourself if your dad and friend were justified in their actions toward you. Shut up and yelling aren't very nice but are forgivable. Sort it out and be forgiving and kind if you discuss it with them. Hopefully you will get the same in return. If you don't, keep your head up.

You should let your mom and dad work it out. Stay out of it and maybe you won't get yelled at. Bummer. Sorry to hear you have to go through this.
