It definitely could be. I know going for a long walk after work always helps me. You need to do something relaxing before bed like reading, or having a cup of herb tea. You could also try Yoga, this has helped me in the past. Learn how to meditate, to completely clear your mind. You should try to do this for about ten minutes during your work day if time permits. Good luck!

Are you eating healthy foods? Are you getting enough exercise? Are you drinking enough water and staying away from caffen? Are you at least lying in bed at the time you want to sleep? Myself I do drink caffeen all day and night , I stay up usually on the compt.(its addicting) and I dont eat healthy or even three meals a day. I know why I can't fall asleep. Are any of these your symtoms too?? Worrying too can play a part. Try deep breathing , Relaxing every inch of your body. One part at a time. Good luck!

I would personally say it is what you choose to dwell on.I think therefore I am. If you think stressful thoughts you will be stressed if you think calming thoughts you will be calm. For example think about going to prison for life without the possibility of parole. Now think about winning the lottery,Do you see the difference in feelings from one thought to the next? You cannot always change people, places or things,But what nobody can take from you is what you choose to dwell on.I guess it really is the thought that counts.May GOD Bless You.

Stress is a killer. Maybe you need to counterbalance the stress by doing something equally invigorating like exercise.
