add some washing liquid to water and on a lawn pour some water and hey presto loads of worms will appear.
collect in a jar.

I'm not sure where you live, but here in Pennsylvania I can go outside after dark on a nice cool evening and find nightcrawlers almost everywhere. Take a flashlight and scoop 'em up.

Where we live they have them outside in machines (they're outside pet stores). Or Farm and Fleet carry them. If alls else fails look in your yard or driveway after a rain. Good Fishin'

Start digging in your backyard. Around our area local convenience stores sell them. Not sure if they will in your area. I live somewhat in the country.

walmart,convenience stores, sporting goods stores are if you know someone who irrigates take a flashlight covered in red tissue paper and find nightcrawlers at night
