Sugar is bad for dogs but in moderation (1 cookie or biscuit and not every day) it really won't hurt them. Don't feed your dog chocolate, raisins, grapes, avocado, macadamia nuts, or onions because those foods are toxic to them. I know that's not a complete list of foods poison to dogs, but it covers some of the worst. If you're interested you can do a search to find more foods that are poisonous to dogs.

very bad. people think giving a dog chocolate and stuff is a treat, but, actually its almost poison for a dog! They are built not to eat these false carbs as are we, only we have had a significant increase in evolution compared to a dog and can digest carbs a whole lot better than they can. Wecan turn it into energy. They store it only as unuseable fat!
altho saying that, my dog loves skittles if one drops on the floor! His too quick! and meringue! your better off doing what i do, (honestly!) keep some carrots in fridge! theylovethem as treats!
much love

Considering most cookie factories also have a dog treat line the ingredients can't be that far off. I agree about the in moderation part.
It's not like they use wholesome ingredients in dog food and dog biscuits anyways, have you read the ingredients on them yuckkkkk.

She shouldn't have a problem with your veggie diet. Dogs don't need meat to survive. They have veggie dog food available. Just keep offering her what you eat and share. She is small and doesn't require much food. They especially like anything with cheese added. Good luck.

These treats ARE bad for his health. Are you sure you've wormed him recently? Also, a thyroid disorder can make animals want to eat all sorts. Be strict with his doggy chow, and take him to the vet if you're really worried! x

My dog eats pistachio nuts, properly, cracks the shells, spits the shells out then eats the nut!! Also loves sultanas and raisins.
On the biscuit front, she loves digestives, and knows the difference if I buy another brand other than McVities and will turn her noes up at other types of biscuit

my dogs refuse to eat sushi. When I make it I put crab and shrimp in it and they still wont eat it. They also wont eat anything with curry in it. Anything in moderation is ok. If I eat chcolate pudding, I will touch my finger to the pudding and let my dogs lick it. But no more than that because it is toxic.

Don't make a habit of it. Better to get the dog some of his own doggy treats.
