It's true that the church teaches us not to drink alcohol, and that goes for any alcohol. We don't have people who make wine just for Mormon's! The caffeine and tea kind of fall into the same category, and the reason for it is because the Bible says we are to treat our bodies like a temple, and we're encourage not to put thing's that are bad for us into our body. (However, I find there are a lot of other religions that encourage you not to drink) Some of the best Mormons that I know drink Coke & Pepsi, coffee, etc...My two older brothers are very active in the Mormon church, but they both drink Coke like it's going out of style! (And I do too) And no, we don't try to hide it from other Mormons! It's not like we're kicked out the church for drinking caffeine.
I'm not sure if when you ask if we believe in not taking drugs, if you mean street drugs or prescription drugs. If it's street drugs, of course we're not suppose to take them, and I would hope every religion teaches that! Prescription drugs are allowed! We would never be discouraged for taking medicine to help us if we're hurt or ill. That goes for anti-depressants too.
Premarital sex is not ok in the churches eyes, but again, many religions teach that. It's in the Bible that we're not suppose to have sex before marriage. And yes, we can marry non-Mormons, we just can't get married in the Temple. ( we have temples all over the world, and I want to make it clear that our temples are not where we go to church at, we have regular churches) My husband is not Mormon, and I wasn't excommunicated for marrying outside my religion, and if I was, I would defiantly feel the Mormon church wasn't for me! You can't
help who you fall in love with!
Smoking is another thing they frown upon. Once again, it's putting something bad in your body. The pork thing is a new one to me! I've heard a lot of rumors about the church, but never this one! Yes, we are allowed to eat pork!
We don't HAVE to give ten percent of our money to the church, but it says in the Bible that you should pay your tithing and give ten percent. I know that my in-laws are Baptist, and their religion believes in that too, so I'm sure there are alot of religions that believe it.
We do believe porn is wrong, but I would feel that way even if I wasn't Mormon! But we do watch movies and t.v., and there is no getting away from sexual scenes and all that stuff!
The money we pay into our tithing goes back into the church. Our bishops, Prophet, missionaries, and any other person in the church doesn't get paid for what they do. I know most ministers and priest in other religions get paid because clergy is their full time job, but like our bishops and all other people that "work" for the Mormon church have regular jobs just like everyone else. For instance, my bishop in Florida was a doctor, being a bishop is what the church refers to as a calling.
I will be the first to admit that the Mormon church may seem odd to many people who know nothing about it, but there are a lot of stories made about us that aren't rue. People still think we practice polygamy, but that stopped in the eighteen hundreds. There are people that use to be Mormon that practice polygamy now, but they have been excommunicated from the church because of that, so they still practice our other beliefs and call their selves Mormon, but they are what we refer to as a break off from our religion. If people want to get information from people that dislike Mormon's, that's fine. But I also encourage them to check out the church from out point of view. Go to the website, or do a search on Mormon's "Words Of Wisdom" and that will give you a better idea on our beliefs.
Didn't mean to write this much! I just don't want you to be misinformed about us.

1.mormons cannot drink alcohol (does this goes to all type of alcohols? but i heard that mormons can consume wine made by mormons)
If we want to, we can we just can't take the sacrament on Sunday or go inside the Temples. But it is frowned upon.
2.mormons cannot take caffeine.tea and coffee are strictly phorhibited. (how abot other caffeinated drinks like pepsi and coca cola? how about other hot drinks?)
I drink caffeine, I've had coffee and some tea. Coffee in particular is frowned upon because you can get addicted to it.
3.mormons cannot take drugs.
You can if you want to, but it is, once again, frowned upon.
4.mormons cannot have premarital sex (can mormons marry a non-mormon?)
It's against the law of chastity, but a lot of Mormons do it anyway. When you grow up in the Mormon church, with all those rules constantly being forced down your throat, you either embrace it, or you rebel against it.
5.mormons cannot take tobbacos inluding smoking cigarettes.
Against the word of wisdom but some Mormons still do it.
6.mormons cannot eat pork.
False, we eat pork all the time. It's freaking delicous.
7.all mormons must donate 10% of their salary to the church.
You don't have to, but most do.
8.is that true that mormons cannot watch porn, nudity materials, sex scenes, raunchy scenes(example:- naked people) and even their own genitals?
Pornography is considered a form of adultery, and one of the ten commandments is "thou shall not commit adultery" They say even to look upon someone else, even if it's just someone on the street, and think about them in a way you should only think about your spouse, then you've committed adultery in your mind.

Alright. I am not a mormon because I could not comply to their laws, but I do know lots and lots about the religion because I used to talk to a couple of missionaries a few times every week.
1. Mormons may consume small amounts of alcohol, but they may never get drunk.
2. Mormons do not drink caffeine. They buy caffeine free soda.
3. Drugs are strictly prohibited unless they are for the healing of the body. (over the counter medication, some prescriptions depending)
4. It is a sin to have premarital sex, but they are allowed to marry outside the religion, although they do like converts. They are also not supposed to date until the age of 16.
5. Smoking is frowned upon almost as much as alcohol, but let to slide a little bit more. Still prohibited.
6. They do eat pork.
7. Donating 10% of their salary to the church is called tithing. It is not required, but supposedly betters the relationship with God.
8. No, Mormons do not watch porn. When the line is crossed on television, they are supposed to turn their heads. There is no law about one's genitals, although Masturbation is a sin.
Hope all this helped!

Most of the questions you ask are based on what we should believe in. Not all Mormons live by these rules, although I've got to say that if you claim a religion, you should live by its tenets.
It's true that we aren't supposed to drink alcohol, it doesn't matter who made it.
Tea and coffee are taboo, but as of yet there hasn't been an official statement on caffeine.
We can use drugs as appropriate. We don't use illegal/recreational drugs, but otherwise it's okay.
We believe that sex should only be between a husband and wife. While we encourage people to marry within their religion, there is no specific rule that prohibits marrying outside of the religion.
Tobacco is also taboo.
I love pork. I'm glad I'm not a Muslim or Jew in that regard.
We are asked to give a tithe (10%) of our income. It's the way the church builds its buildings and funds many of its programs.
This last question ties back to your question about premarital sex. Sex is for husband and wife. Sexual arousal leads to sexual activity and we're supposed to avoid even the thought of adultery. Pornography is right out. Other scenes require some soul searching.

1. Alcohol is not for the belly but for the cleansing of skin. No alcoholic beverages of any kind.
2. No hot beverages, defined as coffee and tea but also includes any drink that would be harmful to the body. Caffeine is contrary to the word of wisdom, our code of health, as well as any other addictive or habit forming substance. Colas should not be consumed.
3. Drugs should only be taken for proper medical reasons. Illicit or recreational drugs are strictly forbidden. Again such behavior shows a disrespect for the body.
4. No premarital sex nor any extramarital sex. Chastity before marriage and fidelity after marriage. Marrying outside the faith is discouraged because that tends to lead the member away from the Church rather than bringing the nonmember into the Church.
5. No tobacco products, they are harmful to the body.
6. All meat is okay in moderation, not to be eaten in excess, preferrably in winter and times of famine.
7. That is called tithing. It is used for the expenses of the Church and to teach us the principle of sacrifice.
8. Pornography is an insidious habit that consumes our minds and behavior. All immodest displays should be assiduously avoided. No R rated films or books or music should be introduced into our minds. In order to feel the workings of the spirit, our own spirits must be clean and pure.
There is much more for you to learn. If you want to learn, please go to the LDS.org website.

Ok.... parts of your info are true but most of it is rediculous.
1. We do not drink any alcohol (we do not have wine made.. we drink water in church services), and we don't have coffee, tea or use drugs or tobacco products.
2. The Lord told us to not have Coffee or Tea. He said nothing about Caffeine. That is just a common misunderstanding. There are some LDS folks who choose not to have cold caffeineted drinks like Pepsi or Coke, but I personally do. I just don't have Coffee... not a fan anyway. :)
3. Correct. Mormons do not use drugs. We take legal drugs for sickness or injury like everyone else but we refrain from the illegal, can kill you kind. :)
4. We are encouraged to save ourselves for marriage, yes. People don't sometimes, but that is why we have the repentance process. It is not condoned by the church, but people can always be forgiven and change their habbits. Yes, a Mormon person can marry a non-Mormon, just not in the Temple.
5. Didn't we already cover this? Yes, no tobacco, no drugs. Period.
6. Pork? Yes we do. Now you're thinking of Judaism and eating kosher foods
7. We are encouraged to donate 10% of our income to the church to help those in need in our community, but it is not forced. It states in the bible that the Lord asks people to donate 10% (tithe or tithing) to the church.
8. Oh brother.... well as I hope you know, porn in itself isn't good for the soul. We believe that sex should only be between a husband and a wife. Sex is a sacred, private affair and should be kept that way. If a Mormon husband and wife choose to watch porn together, that is their business. We are encouraged to watch wholesome movies and television. Bad stuff corrupts the mind and soul... everyone knows that, but they watch it anyway. My husband and I watch rated R movies sometimes... typically war films where the R is for violence, but I have also seen a few films with partial nudity. I work in the film business, so that probably influences my decisions of what to watch. Looking at our own genitals? Where do you get this stuff? I must say, I've never heard that one before. Uh... yes.. no one said we can't...... lol
Visit www.lds.org and click on basic beliefs. That should clear things up. Hope this helped :)

I've been LDS for 10 years. Answers are:
1. True, Mormons cannot drink any alcohol. I've not heard of "Mormon Wine", but whatever it is, if it contains alcohol we should not drink it.
2. The Word of Wisdom also prohibits the use of tea and coffee, but it doesn't mention caffeine. So I drink cola, and also hot chocolate.
3. True. Mormons cannot take illegal drugs.
4. True. Or extramarital sex. But they can marry a non Mormon, although there are those who wouldn't because many non Mormons wouldn't necessarily support them in the no premarital sex thing.
5. True. The Word of Wisdom also forbids the use of tobacco.
6. False. Mormons can, and do, eat pork. The Word of Wisdom does say, however, that meat is to be used sparingly, and vegetables and wholegrains are better. (The revelation known as the Word of Wisdom was given to the Church in 1834. I find that amazing since nicotine, caffeine and other health knowledge came long after that date.)
7. Mmm... kinda. No Mormon MUST donate 10%. No-one demands it, or checks your salary slips to make sure you're paying the right amount. We do believe in tithing, but we do it voluntarily and because we receive great blessings for paying it. No one is excommunicated for not paying tithing.
8. True, we avoid porn and adult content TV programmes and films. Pretty tricky to avoid seeing ones own genitals, I would have thought. We have a very healthy attitude to sex, in that we believe it is a wonderful gift from God, given to bond together husband and wife and enable them to express love for one another. But it is to be used only by husband and wife, and is a very private, personal and even sacred thing between them. For this reason we would not consider it appropriate to observe others abusing this special gift by indulging their lust with someone other than their spouse, flaunting their bodies or endeavouring to create lust in others.

No. LDS members choose not to drink alcohol. They do not drink wine no matter who makes it. They do drink grape juice however, and even apple cider!
2.mormons cannot take caffeine.tea and coffee are strictly phorhibited. (how abot other caffeinated drinks like pepsi and coca cola? how about other hot drinks?)
LDS choose not to drink tea from the tea plant or coffee. They drink herbal tea and hot chocolate.
3.mormons cannot take drugs.
Sure they do. They choose not to use illicit drugs, but asprin and prescription meds are fine.
4.mormons cannot have premarital sex (can mormons marry a non-mormon?)
They choose not to have sex before marriage. A member of the LDS church strives to be married in the temple, but can still be a member of the church and married a non-member. that's fine.
5.mormons cannot take tobbacos inluding smoking cigarettes.
Why would anyone want to smoke, when they know it destroys the temple(body) that God gave us when we were born?
6.mormons cannot eat pork.
LDS aren't jewish. They eat pork products. With Jesus Christ, the law of Moses was fulfilled, and a good christian can still be a good christian and eat bacon.
7.all mormons must donate 10% of their salary to the church.
LDS give tithing to the church as said in Malachi: Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings." (Malachi 3:8)
8.is that true that mormons cannot watch porn, nudity materials, sex scenes, raunchy scenes(example:- naked people) and even their own genitals?
Um, its okay to "watch your own genitals".......bodies are gifts from God and need to be cleaned regularly. Regular bathing is just good common sense!

.the Mormon religion is like many others rules and guidelines to follow ( not that all do ) donations to the church is a guideline and some do some don't. Most baptist and catholic churches ask for 15%. Mormons do eat pork who ever said that is really wrong. The bible tells us to treat your body as a temple ( all religions believe that) that is the reason for the caffeine ,drugs ,alcohol and tobacco. Mormons do drink hot drinks like hot chocolate and i know some that drink decaff tea and coffee. They do not drink wine most historians will tell you the wine referred to in the bible is grape juice carried in skins. There were no fermenting processes in the days of Christ . Although frowned no many Mormons marry non members and premarital sex like in most other religions along with porn is frowned on although I'm sure it happens. all in all the Mormon religion is not unlike any other religion

Let me help you. Question number one is true and false. We are not allowed to drink any type of alcohol made by other mormons or not. Question two, we are not allowed to drink coffee or tea and are strongly urged not to drink other caffeinated drinks (soda). Question three, mormons have the choice to take drugs, but our religion doesn't allow it. In general we have our free will, but there are consequences to follow every choice, good or bad. Question four, no mormons are not allowed to have premarital sex. We are commanded to only have the relations once ordained by marriage. And yes mormons can marry non-mormons. Question five, no mormons are commanded to not smoke, chew, or have anything to do with tobacco. Question six, yes mormons can eat pork. Question seven, yes we are told to donate 10% of our earning to the church as our tithing. This goes toward our church welfare system and other welfare and service projects. Question eight, we are strictly told not to watch those sorts of movies, read books, or look at pictures. We are instructed not to arouse those feelings within ourselves because it could lead to temptations. If you have any other question feel free to ask. Most mormons are open to answering any question you have about our beliefs.

There is a host of many things a Mormon is not allowed to do.
You can find out what they are by checking the web for their Temple Interview questions.
Their young missionaries actually believe the things below that they try to teach anyone who will listen to them. Most of them have been taught these things before they were baptized at eight years old.
They have been brain washed and have never read all of the New Testament. The New
Testament mentions False Prophets.
The Missionaries will try to feed you a pack of lies from the Devil.
If you want to know what these things are ...
