Me and my sister want to buy one are thinking about buying one this week. I read that they are a good full body workout. Are they? Can they make the fat in my stomach, arms, legs... go away?

Ellipticals are a great way to exercise, but you'll need a good healthy diet to lose fat.

I started using an elliptical at the gym a few months ago after getting bored with the treadmill, and I love it! It is good for overall fat burning and as you get fitter, you can increase the incline and resistance. It's really good for shaping the legs and butt, but it doesn't do too much for toning other parts of the body, like arms and abs. It's also easier on the knees than jogging or using a bike, if you have joint problems. I like that you can go backwards on it, too, to work your muscles in a slightly different way. Not everyone likes them, though, so I would suggest trying it out for a week or two and seeing how you like it.

I can't say for sure what using an elliptical would do for your body, but it would improve your cardiovascular endurance and overall body health. I really like them because the impact on my joints is nominal and I already had knee surgery once. I really enjoy running, but I can't do it that often. So I use the elliptical. I have noticed that it will work my muscle slightly differently than running does, so I think it's a great addition to any work out program. Do some research before you buy one though. As with all exercise equipment there are the bare bones ones and the ones with all the bells and whistles. Check around and see if there are any used ones for sale. Sometimes people will sell them barely used for a low price.

Have fun!

Those are EXCELLENT
They can let go fat from legs, butt, maybe arms but from stomach...well that part too but because you eliminate fat in general but you would need abs workout too.
