Whenever someone asks this popular question, its always a dead giveway to people who have studied evolution, that the asker hasnt done any substantive exploration of the scientific fact of evolution.

Humans evolved from a common ancestor shared with primates. Evolution occurs as a result of climatic CHANGE. In this case, one part of Africa changed and the other did not. Apes that lived continued to live in the dense jungle didnt need to adapt however, apes that lived in the newly created savanah, where they couldnt escape predators as easily by swining from tree to tree had to adapt.

By your logic wolves should be extinct too.

Anyway i've never heard anybody (besides Christians) say we come from monkeys. What i've heard is that monkeys and us share a common ancestor. Think about it this way, on the family tree monkeys aren't our father, they are our distant cousin.

Humans and monkeys share a common ancestor. You need to check up on your biology. This is an elementary mistake that can be easily refuted. For you to not know this shows complete ignorance on your part. Try again.

You are the last of the line of the still monkeys. The rest of us (man and apes) evolved from a common ancestor. When YOU die, the still monkeys will be still dead.

How many times per day will we have to read this exact same question?
Humans did not evolve from monkeys. Humans and apes (both primates) both evolved from the same prehistoric primate. Humans and apes each continue to evolve today.
Before you ask a question to show everybody how clever you are do a little research past your bible.

Monkeys are their own creation from God. Man is his own creation. God created all living, breathing forms of life. He did not "evolve" us from animals but created us in the likeness of Him.

paradise1708 - Good question - one of the Biggest flaws in evolution - if evolution was real we should be able to still see each form as it is on their charts as living today - but OOOPS we can't - and why can't we - because evolution is man made - and man made Ideas have flaws.

To top it all off - evolutionist may have come from Monkeys (which explains a lot) - but I did not.
