God represents love, unity, and morals. To sit back and accuse the faith of being judgemental and hypocritical is the "kettle calling the pot black". Its just like saying all blacks are crooks because a black was reported stealing a car on the news last nite or all whites are racist because it was reported a group of whites burned a cruifix on black familys' yard. Stereotyping or "labeling" is accepted as being wrong in our society but when it comes to Christians the rule doesnt apply. That is biogtry in its purest form. Racism is not an issue anymore, for the most part whites and blacks get along just fine.Hatred against the Christian Faith and Morals is the new age "racism". The Christian Faith is not corrupted, some who "claim" to be Christians are the corruption. A hatred driven individual will respond to these statements in the following way: Attack on the Faith Attack on the Individual and Endorsement of Personal Opinion. The Bible and its contents represent love and truth

Actually, racism is a part of Jesus prophecy for the time of the enjd.
He said there would be "Nation against Nation , Kingdom against Kingdom"(Matthew 24:7)
A nation is a racial group while a Kingdom is a government.
Thus racial hatred is simering just below the surface in some places and alive in outright slaughter in others.(Rwanda, Ethiopia,
Bosnia, Russia, Mexico.).
THe US racism will flare up at the slightest provocation.(Do you remember the Watts riots of '65 and 92?)

You are so mistaken. First of all, racism is still an issue it always will be. There are more cultures than black and white by the way. Furthermore, the Bible contains very many contradictions. In Corinthians God describes love. He states, " Love is not jealous." Then in Genises when God is giving Moses the ten commandments He tells Moses that He is a jealous god. So what does that mean to you. In Romans God talks about a women giving birth to twins. He speaks of loving one and hating the other. God tells us we are all preselected to be forgiven. That is in Romans also. What about that? Can you explain to me please? I doubt someone like you could. We are a melting pot of cultures. You get mad because people do not accept Christianity. Well, what about this? You will tell us that we all will suffer for eternity if we don't accept your God before our departure from this world. Are you going to tell me that is okay?

There are so many other religions where people will put themselves through severe suffering to pronounce their faith. In Mexico, every year people will actually have nails pounded through their palms and feet onto a wooden cross and hang there for several hours to show their appreciation of their God. The Buddhists undergo deep meditation without food or water to get closer to the point of enlightenment. Priests take vows of celebacy for their faith. All of these groups do this willingly for their God. They all take sacrifices. Some yearn to be martyers. Then there is you. You come on here and complain that people are being mean and racist to you. Probably isn't the best way to show your faith and spread the truth is it?

The bible isn't exactly a warm and fuzzy book. The Old Testament is full of blood, death and pain as well as back stabbing, condoned mass murder. The list could go on. The New Testament is just as bad with it's lovely introduction of Hell. Oh.. and just as a note, I don't dislike Christians, I have many Christian friends. But people need to be a little more stright about what they're looking at.

The bible and it's contents represent Truth and love and confusion and wrath and a hundred different other ideas. They guys on the News screaming about how GOD GAVE FAGS AIDS have quotes from the bible too. It's good you want to be loving and accepting but you can't claim that the bible supports your beliefs any more than FAGS AIDs guy can.

I appreciate that you're trying to tell me that Christians are persecuted people. But it's full of it. Not only does your combined constituency have to power to dictacte Government and Corperate policy but you are judgemental. I've met black people who I'd trust completely with my valuables and I've met white people who are physically ill at the thought of racism but I've never met a Christian that doesn't have a judgement about me. You're calling me a God Hater and a Christian Basher because I have a belief that differs from your own. I'm Judgemental because I want to live my life without criticisms of your faith. Who do you think you're fooling? Yourself?

Maybe instead of asking yourself what's wrong with all of these people that they won't accept your message of peace and love, you should be asking what's wrong with your message of peace and love..

I completely agree. Hypocracy is a huge problem with Christians. I am Christian, Southern Baptist...and I was raised thinking the older women in the sanctuary that wore the most expensive clothes and jewelry were rich because of how much money they gave to the church. Then, they would get mad if they were not acknowledged for it. This is not the reason you give to a church, that is not GIVING.
Another problem we have is non-christians bashing us because they think we are too good for them. This is not true. I have friends that are Wiccan and Pagan, and we love each other for who we are, not for who we worship. The true reason for people doing this is because they know they are not happy, so they try to make us unhappy.
And there are corrupt people everywhere we look!! Your best friends girlfriend, the cop that lives down the street, the neighbor that has an affair with the deacon...corruption happens everywhere, despite race, religion, or any varying factor.

"God represents love, unity, and morals."

Since when? The god of the bible supposedly murdered scores of first-born babies just to make a point to some pharaoh. You call that morals?

The bible god advocates slavery. I guess that is moral to you?

And if god that would accept the death of one being (jesus) as payment for the acts of another (you or me), thats not justice or forgiveness, but indiscriminate revenge.

As for love, love is a neuro-chemical mechanism that evolved to motivate individuals to share resources and protection, thus increasing species survival. It is a product of evolution for species survival, like flying south for the winter. Saying that god loves is as silly as saying that god flies south for the winter.

And bigotry?? Christians believe that anyone who doesnt believe like they do will be burned forever in a lake of fire by a fair god who wouldnt do anything unjust. If you can come up with a more bigoted belief system than that, I'd sure like to hear what it is.

Your question is too long, but because rational people can't find any reason to believe something that nobody can prove is not to say they hate god... how can you hate something that doesn't exist?

As for Christian bashing, it's more of a "leave me alone already with your beliefs"... you are pests and think everyone has to share your beliefs... it's just a belief system, nothing tangible or scientific about it.

If you choose to let a book of stories run your life, that's your business, but keep it your own business... no pandering of your god please.

Try to remember that tolerance goes all the way around. Athiests don't tell you what to believe in, yet Xtians will pest and pest trying to get everyone to share their beliefs... where's your tolerance?

How approximately I stay an outstanding reasonable no person is observing? i don't kick the damaging, scorn the best human beings, or gloat over myself. In my employer, i'm not cheating, grasping, heartless, or lacking integrity. yet, i don't have faith in God. of direction, if somebody is honest, compassionate, and good, then why is it? Is it by using fact he somewhat is an outstanding guy or woman, or is it by using fact he fears somebody is observing him? Given the alternative between a ethical atheist and a ethical Christian, i could choose the atheist. a minimum of i know his morality is genuine. i don't know if the Christian is genuine or if he's making an attempt to con God.

Wow, that was something.

Ah, well i feel you.
Just imagine that, to be pulled down from the throne of the earth.
To be stripped as heir to the kingdom, reduced to mere mortal.
To suffer the slings and arrows,
when your authority while yet substantial is waning.
At one time the Church' word was law.
The Church joyfully sang death to the heretics, witches,
backsliders, blasphemers, God-haters and they carried
their own sentences out.
Such things were done in love and in the
name of God.

Everything is going to be alright, he' coming back like he
said he would.
