Why display manners at all as far as Left Wing Liberals are concerned we can all just urinate and defecate where we please...after-all they do in Calcutta!

Why worry what others think about, for example, passing gas (farting) at operas, during sermons, at funerals and Birthday parties "better out than in" 'Dr' Howard Dean, always says!

Manners? It would be highly impolite to wear clothes in some cultures or sit crossed legged in others or eat peas with a knife, getting them all lined up wow that's a really challenge! I know I
tried many times as a child imitating a Popeye cartoon, it's fun.

Isn't it interesting that all prejudiced statements about "Liberals" or "Conservatives" can be filled in with EITHER of those terms, and often are? Stop being so rude.

May I kindly say that 2 wrongs seldom make a right, albeit there are exceptions to every rule. Haveing said, I have manners, am polite to my elders, don't swear, and respect all living beings. By the way...I am very liberal thank you very much.

Ohhhh, I don't know...

...I think stealing a presidency, lying, ruining the economy, stripping the environment, crippling education, leaving Katrina victims to rot, oh yeah, and...starting a war in which almost 3000 Americans have already been butchered...

...I think that's just a wee bit more rude than farting at the opera.

But, then...I'm a Liberal. You know what silly sons a bitches WE are!

(buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrppppppp!!!)

S'cuse me.

It's up to you to display manners, but I do know the more polite that I am the more things come my way.

First of all you shouldn't generalize by saying "all". I've met very rude people from all walks of life. I've also met very polite and well-mannered people from all walks of life as well. Manners vary from individual to individual. It all depends upon how one was raised and how he/she chooses to conduct him/herself.

its not for other people, it is for you. if you want to be common and sink to the level of others, go ahead. manners are to preserve your own dignity and an outward expression of how you view yourself.
