i would check the warranty information. the best way to tell if something is steel or not is to take a magnet and see if it will stick. it will not stick to brass, stainless, aluminum, or other types of metal. if the magnet sticks to your cookware it is not stainless and even lately i have noticed some stainless showing signs of rust, but it is stainless, just a very poor grade. bought a refrigerator and was told it was stainless, did the old magnet trick and you should have seen the salesman's eyes and then he started to explain about a coating that would allow the magnet to stick. there is an awful lot of false advertisement and out sourcing going on right now and their reply is sue me type attitude.

Some times there can be parts in stainless steel that have a bad spot that will rust a little bit.
If you paid alot for this thing I would ask for a new one.
If it was a cheap pan then just get a new one

get a new pan. Why do people always want to sue? Are you that hard up for money? Unless the pan cost you hundreds of dollars just remember the brand and don't buy it again. Bad word of mouth is better than spending your time and money to sue for a few measly bucks.

Yes, I highly recommend that you sue over this. Don't forget to include loss of income, personal injury and emotional pain and suffering. I recommend that you sue for 6.45Billion.

You can't sue for it, but you should be able to refund your money. I can't stand when stuff like that happens
