I don't think we should believe in evolution, thanks to modern science. Darwinian evolution is still only a theory, it has never been proven, and thanks to modern science it is now being disproven. It takes far more faith to believe in Darwinian evolution than it does to believe in creation and intelligent design. There is a lot more evidence for creation and intelligent design than there is for Darwinian evolution. A lot of people believe in the theory of Darwinian evolution because they were (and are still being) taught this theory in school. This theory should no longer be taught in school now that modern science is continueously finding more evidence against it. At the time Darwin came up with the theory of evolution, science was not able to disprove it. Darwin's theory of evolution has not been proven. Only 9% of the population now believes in Darwinian evolution.

Scientific evidence casts serious doubts on the theory of evolution, for example:

If you are a science student, then you understand what evolution really is and understand the value and how difficult it is to actually have a "theory." The "it's only a theory" argument is bullocks because gravity is also a "theory," but we understand the importance of it and the years of work, criticism, and study that went into that.

You should support science so you are knowledgeable and open to learning. You can still be religious and personally think that your god is so smart that s/he created evolution if it fits in with your theology.

Evolution happens. Not always the way as theorized. Similarities are not proof of relationship. But what a great study.

As a Christian you would be interested in the comments found in the Dakes Bible concerning creation. Especially the commentary about Genesis 1:1 concerning the Satanic flood.

A lot of Creationists claim that there is evidence against Evolution, and that mainstream science hides the truth for some reason. However, the "evidence" against evolution is at best manipulation of facts, and at worst outwright lies. This website goes through every creationist claim and uses science to disprove them. With references, which you won't see in creationist literature.

If you're a real science student you will know enough to examine the evidence both for AND against evolution. After very careful research, you will find that evolution has more against it than for it. Don't let your professors and teachers brainwash you with only the facts FOR evolution. They may make it sound like it is obviously an accurate theory, but find that out for yourself.

God bless!

If you put all the materials in a container for say a space ship and shook it up, would you get a space ship or not, okay if it takes a designer for a space ship, then it takes a designer for you, now, Gen. 1, it says evening and morning were the first day, evening and morning were the second and so forth, the first day was 24 hours, Okay of all the knowledge that is out there, can God live in the area where you know nothing about, of course He can, so God created heaven earth and you, and so the rest of God's Word is true, free bible lessons www.itiswritten.com God bless ya. wgr88@yahoo.com

Are you talking about Micro or Macro evolution? Micro is basically what others refer to as adaptation and can be shown. Macro is where people who study evolution start to question it. If you want to see how excepting the scientific community is of their own beliefs I would suggest you look at its beginnings and Piltdown man.

if you go get an education, then you will make the right decision. the three choices are intelligent design, evolution and creationism. the right answer is all three. however every idiot wants to take sides because it causes controversy and people like to right one sided stories. this is what i believe. people couldn't understand everything way back when. so they took thousands of years of understandings from all walks of life and imposed control on other idiots hoping that they would folow their beliefs. the smart like to rule the stupid. anyways jesus is all about helping you to understand right and wrong. then they got smart who wanted to control the rightous. well as two smart people duke it out, they decided to end up with three competitors who saw it in three different perspectives. anyways, the whole point is that god created the heaven and earth. if you do a lot of studying like i have, then you will know that life began on earth. you have to be as smart as a straight A student to see what i want to say with out having to explain all that i know. it is so easy for life to start on earth. once it starts, then it itself has the power to evolve into any living organism that are in its fauna. as time passes life evolves into the intelligent design of a human being. so you see that i know what i am talking about. if you have questions and i know that in time you will then you are out of luck unless you find someone as smart as me. so the question is yes believe in evolution. that means that life started in the sea as a swimming backbone. it then became an eel. then it became a fish. then the fish walked on water. it then became a mouse. then a squirrel. then a lemur. then a bunch of species that are neanderthalish and primate. then human. what i haven't figured out is why did every species between a lemur and human being become extinct? the biggest understanding that you should get out of this is that you are smart enough to start your own religion. believe what you want. did you notice that every one has their own beliefs and never listen to anyone unless they want to?

Science student - ask your teachers this:

Is science a constant? Meaning do the rules of science change?

As far as I know - they don't.

So ask them these questions: Since today Life is required to produce life - please tell me the formula for making life from nothing.

If Monkeys were our ancestors - then how many monkeys have matured into humans and live among us today?

What are the odds of evolution happening?

If you cannot get straight forward answers - then you will know - trust only Jesus - use Science to prove other things - let Jesus save your soul - science can't.

It's not a matter in believing. What do the facts say? What does the evidence say? That we were poofed into existence 6000 years ago, or that today's life forms developed from simpler ones?

Hint: Doubters, by all means take an anthropolgy or biology class.

That's gotta' have you torn. I consider myself Agnostic. The Evolution 'theory' being one of the good reasons why I label myself just that. Just do your best to explore both sides of the puzzle and figure out what seems right for you.
