I need to shed some pounds because I want to look pretty for an upcoming event. I plan to walk a lot and do an hour a day on the excersize bike. Im also using these little 3lbs weights to excersize my arms. Im having trouble figuring out what foods to stay away from. Could you help?

Break fast: Oatmeal, 1 poched egg and one toast without butter.
Betteing meals: Fruit, strawberrys are great, oranges too.
Lunch: your favorite sandwich and an apple
Dinner: Baked potato, turkey/chicken. and a good vaggy salad. Salad dressing: olive oil, apple cider or lemon juice, salt and peeper.

Suggestions: Before every meal, or whenever you are hungry, take a cup of warm water.

Eat foods no too rich in iron, they make hungrier.

Your intake of vitamins and minerals should balanced.

Remember not to starve to death, just give your stomach what it needs, not what it wants. Eventually you get used to eat healthy in small amounts.

Anything (as long as you vary it from day to day) except Soda.

Count your calories and your fine. Soda is one thing thats really bad for ur diet because the carbonation in the soda expands ur stomach and sure enough the next day ull feel less full and want to eat more.

Fast food, white flour starches (white bread, pasta, white rice...), non-diet sodas, cake/cookies, deep fried foods.

As for chocolate...actually an ounce of dark chocolate is very beneficial to the heart and brain.

ANYthing from a fastfood restaurant (McDonald's, Burger King, Arby's, Tim Horton's, Wendy's....) should be avoided; soda, especially the diet, chocolate, ice cream,

look, if you REALLY want to get into shape and be healthy, consider going vegetarian. you can look up books on that and other healthy eating subjects/topics on www.borders.com

have fun and be healthy :)
