I bought some red rope lights from Spencers and they did not come with anything to hang them with. I'd appreciate any creative ideas or suggestions that I could try. Thanks.

I am wanting to hang them in a bedroom along the ceiling, how would I use twist ties? What would I tie them to? lol

Depends where you are going to hang them. You can get Christmas light hangers anywhere or you could use bread ties or trash bag closures. Good Luck

I had a similar experience, and I have an answer for your question! A few years ago I bought a string of indoor minilights, and wanted to hang them around my bedroom window. To place them where I wanted them, I used Scotch tape, and then simply took a stapler and stapled the cord onto the wall all the way around the window. This technique will also work on the ceiling! And is the simplest way to attach them straight onto the wall/ceiling :) Goodluck!

Put thin, 3" nails into the walls every three to four feet, about half an inch from the top of the wall. Drive them in straight, and leave about half an inch sticking out. Wrap a baggie tie around each and push it to the base. Then, finish driving the nails into the wall and you have ties sticking out of the wall! This is not easy to do, but it does work if you are careful.

Just buy the small cup hooks, you'll never even see them holding the lighting. It'll look great. We used them on our plant shelf along our bedroom.
