Could someone please tell me some simple maybe at home products that are really good at removing pet stains and smells from a carpet?seroius answers please!

Your best bet is an enzymatic cleaner like Nature's Miracle. If you have ammonia and white vinegar, you can do a 2 step clean up.

1. Blot with paper towels. Rinse stain with ammonia and blot again.

2. Rinse stain with vinegar and blot to dry. You can even leave a weighted paper towel on the stain to draw up the moisture.

The faster you get to the spot, the better. Do not over saturate your carpet.

Pour WHITE vinegar on the stain to neutralize the odor. to do a more perfect fix: ! Rent a shampooer the uses hot water, Instead of buying their shampoo cleaner put WHITE vinegar in the machine. Follow the machine directions. You could try their pet stain remover, but I prefer the white vinegar for the quality of the cleanup and odor removal.
