Speak to your vet about cosequine and adequine. They both work really well (especially the adequine, but that's a last resort drug).

CAN KILL YOUR PET! People medicine is not
made for animals. Glucosamine and Chondroitin
are usually given to dogs with joint pain, but the amount to give is determined by the dog's weight and other factors that your vet should know about, regarding your pet's medical history.

Etogesic is one of the old NSAIDS. You might consider talking to your vet about some of the newer generation NSAIDS. Also consider glucosamine/chondroitin. Your vet may also have info and or products in that respect as well.

I use glucosmine and it definitely works - takes about 4 - 6 weeks to really take affect, though.

DIFFERENT PAINKILLERS.. seriously, pain killers kill pain... I guess you could try some herbal creme, but I doubt they work that well.
