rumors can hurt people so much, so i don't spread them and i don't want to hear them either. a bad rumor almost cost me a very good friendship with someone i care so much about. it took him a long time to trust me again even after he found out the rumor was all lies. don't start them and don't spread them...why hurt someone like that

Rumors are cruel and hurt you in the end. Whoever you tell one to loses the tiniest bit of respect for you each time, or a LOT, depending what you say or who it was about. Rumors hurt others needlessly, and also ruin the one spreading them.
If you know someone who is spreading one, remember if you don't worry about it, they'll eventually get what's coming to them for it. Bad way to think, but pray karma's not TOO hard on them.

Most of the time that's all they are is "Bad Rumors" - something somebody made up and as it got passed from person to person, people added their own take on it and it turns BAD. Just disregard them and if needed get to where it came from and confront the person - that's what I do immediately if I hear something that was said about me that isn't true.

When people "stop" generating them they get bored. Talk is cheap and so are "bad" rumors. You can not help people out of their problem when the only thing in their life is gossip.

Ignore it. It's just a rumor. If you family and friends know you well enough then they will laugh with you about it.

sure i think rumors are the 1st reason of bad society..u see when u listen to rumors about that person..maybe u know it's for a(thing for sure) but u can't handle ranking this person according to it....some way or another....those who say rumors should know that one day arumor cincerning them will affect their repitation one day and they will know that feeling..
