again with the generalizing....not ALL blacks call it each other that..I think its offensive..and I also think you should ignore people that call you that..they'll get the picture :)

When we black people say it to each other, it doesn't mean the same thing... it's more a term of endearment and being playful. As soon as the word comes from someone outside of our race, then it is taken as offensive. It's like YOU can call your brother or sister a "Jerk" or an "#sshole", but as soon as someone else does, you generally get mad and find it offensive and rude towards you beloved family member. See ? :)
