I suggest you seriously have a talk with your boss, when you can clearly and calmy discuss what the problem is and be honest. If that does not work, find another job. Learning to deal with stress is important, running for the meds everytime life gets rough is not the answer, in fact, it's a very bad answer. Maybe read about stress management, take a mini-class, learn techniques to de-stress once you get home and also at work.

Your boy friend is a cleaver man and do follow his advice -Don't take any antidepressant pills, they will in the long run destroy you and at the very end you will have illnesses you never should have like psychosis, neurosis et cetera, but will be manifested for life. Life isn't so bad after all that you do need those pills. If you are stressed from your work, find an other one, it is NOT worth the sacrifices you making with pills.

Can you switch jobs? You should seriously consider looking for another one if it is that bad. In the meantime, going back on Zoloft may help you "get over the hump" so to speak, or at least help you deal with your current stressors. See your doctor.
