We didn't tip any of our vendors. Weddings are expensive enough, and the vendors charge way too much as it is...so that's what they got. We did tip the officiant (because there was no charge for the church), the janitors of the church and the organist....but that was it.

Check with the vendor themselves, sometimes they already add a gratuity and service fee to the bill. If they don't do the customary 20%, if the service has just been the best make it 30%, and tip the Officiant separate like $50.00.

Vendors don't get tipped unless you feel that they've gone above and beyond the call of duty. Otherwise, the fee they've charged is sufficient.

Usually the tip is included in the cost of the rental hall/caterer. Check to see. Our officiant asked for a "donation" in leiu of a fee for our wedding. Other than that, what they charge should be all that you pay them. I'm a photographer and I don't expect more than what I charge. Congrats.

I work at a wedding caterer and the tip is included in the price for the food, and location...most places are like that
