Gruyere.. it's has such a deep and strong flavor! It's the best if you're making cordon bleu (make a pocket into a chicken breast, wrap a small piece of gruyere in a piece of cold-cut ham, then dip the chicken into some egg and cover with bread crumbs. Pan fry in medium-high with some oil.. flip over once after about 4 minutes and cook another 4 minutes). This is one of my favorite ways to enjoy it.

Love several types - Don't really have a favorite. Baked brie covered with honey & sliced almonds and served with crackers & fruit is a great desert or snack food. For burgers, top with colby jack or sharp cheddar. In scrambled eggs I love a mexican blend of shredded cheese & of course down south, nothing beats an american cheese, pinapple & mayo sandwich on a hot afternoon!

A good French camembert - served at room temperature and served with quality water crackers, maybe also a port wine jelly.
Fried haloumi served with bitter greens (i.e: rocket etc..) and a drizzle of olive oil / balsamic vinegar also hits the spot.

My favorite cheese is Havarti with garden vegetables, I serve it on table water crackers with a slice of Kolbassa.

I love blue cheese on everything and anything, except pancakes. Baked brie served with apples is wonderful as well, especially a smoky brie.
