An interactive theme party. Like organizing it so that they all go to either build a bear or home depo (depending on the sex of the child) to either build a bear or build a birdhouse. I did it it was fun and they actually learned something. There are things at both places to make either a girl or a boy happy. and they get to keep their stuff after they are done and they pretty much make it themselves.

I'm so happy you are thinking about this now! We made the mistake of doing big ol' birthday bashes when our kids were small, and guess what? They began to expect big birthday bashes every year. By the time they were five we got smart. We have a party with just family and have a birthday meal and cake/ice cream on the actual birth date. The following weekend, once the birthday is over, we invite a couple of their friends over for a sleepover. It's inexpensive, and it means a lot to the kids.

our rule of thumb was one friend over for every year you are celebrating your bithday. If mothers agree to go so each child has a sitter, a good party for a 3 year old is at the zoo, or a petting zoo..............anything involving animals................the moms have as good a time as the children, especially if you take a picnic with the cake and ice cream!! good luck...

hi what we regularly do is to take children to an orphnage, or an old age home. it is a good time to inculcate some social responsibility in the child. i am sure he will enjoy this new experience as well as meet a whole new world of people. and am sure you wud be doing a lot of good to your child apart from bringing happiness to the people there.

i like the assumption of the bike for his birthday and the ability wheels for the two considered one of them for Christmas. Or how touching directly to the ability wheels for his birthday and the bike for Christmas? That way they may well be the two be entertained over the summer season. the two way i'd actually chop up it up via fact I do agree the two are too lots for one birthday.

I just had my daughter's b-day party and i rented a club house at a lake. (only 65.00) There are paddleboats there, a dock, and a small beach with sand, swings, etc... i rented a snowcone machine (50.00) and I am still hearing about what a great idea it was.
we had simple things: hotdogs, burgers, salads, etc.

It all depends on what he likes. How about a car theme or disney cartoon theme? For cars they have a special cake you can get at food lion that has brown and green icing for mud and grass, and cars "painted" on with icing.Have car cupcakes.make cars out of oversized boxes.for disney you can get super creative because they have so many characters!

How about a McDonalds birthday party, they do everything with the kids, play with them, feed them, and clean up after them.

Chuck E Cheese is always fun . . . or depending on your budget and when his birthday is, you could have a party at an amusement park . . . or a skating or bowling party . . . or a day at the movies . . . . it really depends on him and what he likes . . .
