You've got to figure out some way to raise the funds. You've got a daughter and can't be getting evicted when you're caring for someone else besides yourself. Always have the funds.

Try bake sales, or if you have something you could teach someone, teach it for a fee, babysitting, ebay, a second job, borrow money, do something, but not turning to a soliciter. Landlords don't have to take pity, unfortunately.

After you pay the rent, consider looking for someplace else to live, if you don't like where you're at. It's better to leave on your own terms than to be evicted. Think of the example you're setting for your daughter and do what you think is best with her in mind.

You need money to pay the rent. As another answerer suggested...do what you have to and get the money. Another suggestion for money would be to talk to your Landlord and see if there is work you can do around his properties or his other properties to work off some of the debt.

After you get more situated, then you need to get into a cheaper apartment and/or get a better paying job.
