i'm stepping out of my box and am in a realationship with a person who is really into god, and living life by the bible, they encourage me to get closer to god spiritually and emotionally and they trest me good as well. So sholud it matter where you met the person, if in thier heart they are a good person and know how to treat you?

ABSOLUTELY. NO DOUBT ABOUT IT.

You didn't mention if your a Christian or not. You didn't mention if your friend is.

You say: He is trying to get you CLOSER with God. How? Are you not close enough now? Why?

You have some very critical statements and no mention of other things.

Be sure GOD, is doing this, and not of yourself.

Too many people "claim" and want something to be from God. When it fails, they blame God, for it. The Scripture is abundantly clear, what God puts together, let NO man take apart. This is not limited to marriage, as some people would have you believe.
This is friends, jobs, Business owner, etc.

If it is OF God, it can NOT fail. Period.

I absolutely know God puts people, places, and things in our lives to give us every chance to come to know him. I have experienced his placement in every aspect of my life. I have no words that can express how real he is. No. I can not prove to you he is real by sight, touch or sound, but how many times in your life have you felt that tugging in your heart, or the urging to look for someone bigger than you. My heart breaks, when I think of how many people will find out too late, that he is real, and missed out on the chance to know, love and live for him. You want to know what love really is? If you were the only person that ever lived on this earth, he still would have come to this earth and given his life for you. please don't pass up your chance to know and love him.

NO. The bible does say if you plant wheat seeds don't expect to grow corn.

So if you keep going to crummy bars to meet people, don't blame God for not meeting anyone good.
