Sometimes people don't know the answer. Same happened with one or two of mine. At least you got 7 replies, I only got 2 on one of my questions.
Also I suppose it depends which people are logged on when you post your question as not all the people have the time to go back through pages and pages. Hundreds of questions can appear in a matter of a few hours.

Where's the Isle of Wight? That's why you got a poor response. Few people know the answer.

Because it is quite a specialised question, I asked a question about Lincolnshire (another place caught in a time warp) and got just one answer (albeit a good one). Statistically there's probably very few people on Yahoo answers who even know where the Isle of Wight is, let alone know any facts on it.

Perhaps it was not such a response stimulated question, the geographical knowledge of the average european is about twice that of an american they dont tend to see further than thier own back yard, as for the ffff..... they dont see past the end of thier nose.
