I suggest you tell your cousin about your personal experience but be neutral about it okay? Don't say anything negative directly about your EX. Just leave the decision up to your cousin to decide for him or herself.

You could but he may not listen and you could look like your trying to cause trouble, Maybe the best thing would be keep out of it, let them get on with it and be there as a mate when it all goes wrong.
