the best idea i know of is to cook it in a crockpot for about 2 hours.then throw in some onions mushrooms {if you ike them} and small new potatoes for another couple of hours,usually this comes out nice and tender.

Forget the crock pots, slow cookers, cooktop recipes -- they all tend to cook the flavor out of the meal. Best way for roasts, racks and large pieces of meat.....
Pre-heat oven to 500 degrees. While oven is heating rub meat with whatever seasoning you generally like. Maybe add some "injected marinade" or insert some garlic cloves, etc.
Be sure to use a meat thermometer so your roast is cooked to your liking (med rare, med, etc). Place roast in oven for 15 minutes per pound at the 500 degree setting. Use a roasting pan or tray. This high temperature will brown and seal the roast very nicely.
Then reduce the oven temperature to 300 degrees and cook until desired reading on the meat thermometer is reached. For super tender, extra seasoned flavor this always seems to work EXCELLENT!!
I have used this method for pork, beef and lamb in the past.

Take the roast and brown it in a skillet with salt , pepper , and garlic powder . Then put in a slow cooker , fill up with water to the level of the top of the roast , let cook 8-10 hours on low . It will fall apart and will be so tender you can eat it with a spoon

Crockpots are definitely the way to go for a slow cooked, falling apart meat. But when I make a brisket, I do it in the oven at 300 degrees for 4-5 hours and it's really tender too. Low and slow is key!

if you have a crock pot its the best.Juts drop it all in the crock pot and put on low for about 8 hours.
If not, use a dutch oven. Put a little olive oil in the bottom of the pan and drop the roast in, brown on all sides to seal in the juices and then add potatoes, onions, carrots and a little celery. then top with about 3 cups of water and let it boil with the lid off so the water reduces.. once the water is gone allow to simmer a little longer and then pull everything out of the pot and you can use the drippings to make a gravy..
Other wise put it all in a pan and put in the oven with some tin foil on the top and cover it tight in the oven at about 300 for 4 hours.. make sure you put the veggies in too as they flavor the meat.

take you're roast put it in the pot.. mince 3 or 4 cloves of garlic and a med onion.. put in the pot over roast.. put water in it to just cover roast season with meat tenderizer.. season salt.. Italian seasonings.. cook for about 4 hours on high in a slow cooker.. add potatoes cubed and carrots cook till there done about a hour and a half on med and enjoy

2 cup carrots chopped
4 to 6 potatoes cubed
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 black pepper
1/2 c corn flakes
1 egg

Meassure corn flakes and crush,place in mixing bowl,add egg and bbq sauce salt and pepper then beat until thoroughly blended, in crock pot add roast, carotts and potatoes then pour corn flake mixture over top and set crock pot at 2 for 4 to 6 hrs or you can place in a roasting pan cover with foil and bake in 350 over for 2 to 4 hrs.
