I'm not Christian or any other religion. But I'm sure almost every other religion has followers who look badly on Christianity and any religion that contradicts their own. That's why there were so many religious wars in the past. I personally refuse to choose a religion because I feel that my beliefs don't need a label. I have morals that I follow without a guide like the Holy Bible or any other religious text. I feel that those morals are based on common sense. One of the religious things I agree with is: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." But I believed that without the help of the Bible.

I don't know if Christians have it hard, but I think it should be a lot harder. Why is it taboo to question irrational beliefs? Why should faith be unquestionable? If you go in for heart surgery and the doctor just tells you "have faith, I'll heal you", isn't it right for you to say no way, and demand to know the details of what's going on? Faith should be questioned more and harder, not less. If the principles are true behind it, it'll stand. If it's just a house of cards (like Intelligent Design was), then it'll fall (just like Intelligent Design did at Dover).

You know, I've debated this very question with many of my friends. They all speak of the 'Hard' things that we have to do, giving up this and that. And while that may not be fun, I bet the cross wasn't to fun either. So to answer your question, no. I don't think I have it hard. Everyday, I consider it a blessing to get up and say, "God, I'm YOUR'S, YOU use me in whatever area you can" And as for the giving up part, look at it like this.... I've heard people say, "Drinking isn't a sin." But how can you expect to witness to someone drunk and vomitting? We have to take it all in stride. The Bible says what you bind on earth will be bound in heaven. So if we as believers engage in these sinful activities and knowing ahead of time they are sinful, we will have to answer for each and every one of them. So run the race with endurance, because the most important part of the race is the finish. and dont worry about people thinking of you as 'bad' b/c you and GOD know your not. keep your head high, knowing your serving God.

Hey that first question is a little to personal isn't it ,.. but to the rest of it no not at all every one can think what they want the main problem on both side of talking about spiritual things is the fact that every one assumes an alot about the motivations of the questions and the main points often gets covered up buy the secondary discussion

Yea, as far as beliefs being bad. People are quick to judge without knowing you as soon as you say Christian. But do I have it hard, no, and thats because I dont care what they think. If they want to let one word keep them from knowing me, as a person, I dont care to know them anyway.

many people find Christianity as a cult. My own aunt claims that my pastor runs the church as a cult, even though I have been away from that church and see no cult-ish things in it. Also, non-Christians often think that Christians hate sinners and are going to persecute them to Hell...

No. They are in the majority, at least in the United States. They hold all the control in government, and most of them are in control in other areas, such as businesses and other places of employment. They are not under any type of persecution, but I think they feel threatened for no good reason.
