i have this really good friend and we're both really good friends with this guy and he likes her and it's pretty obvious that she likes him too(i dont like him we're just friends)...but every time she asks me to hang out with them i always feel like a "third wheel"....it's not like i'm obsessed with hanging out with them but if i completely stop hanging out with them they're gonna know that somethings wrong and they're my best friends...i hate feeling like a "third wheel" when i'm around them is there any way to feel less like a 3rd wheel??

Tell them the truth. You see a connection between them. And you are happy for them. You would like to step aside and let them discover more about thei feelings. They should turn around and be as honest with you about your company. Wether or not they like it.

I am so just about to be in that same situation. I'm not sure there is a way to feel less like a 3rd wheel because when you have a group of 3, someone always gets left out. And since you are good friends with both, it's not like you want to be one of the "2" and have one of them be the 3rd wheel either. I guess don't completely stop hanging out with them, but depending on what you are all doing, you can pick and choose your activities and do the things that you really enjoy, or the things that are less like a "date." That way the 2 of them can hangout just the 2 of them, but most couples don't always want to ditch their other friends, so you can still hangout with them on occasion and hopefully not feel like the 3rd wheel. Otherwise, talk to them about it so that when the 3 of you do hangout, they can try to include you more.

well you also have a girlfriend so that there will be four of you to hang out and you will feel like a fourth wheel and not the third. in the meantime i would say that doing what you are doing should not make you feel like a 3rd wheel. its just that you are a good person a good friend and a lovely company to be with.
