I think you have to work under a experinced tatto artist for awhile-then pass some test (in some states) i think it's a license test. I think you can start all this as soon as your 18.

Learn how to draw many different things, ornate objects and such, also, they trace a lot of things onto the body, so work on that. Make up your own stuff too, originality in your own creations will help you in your success. Call me when your an artist, I'll let you do a tat on me!

I'm am thinking That you might want to go to Art school or something??....Call a local Tatoo shop and ask them what you have to do b4 you can be a tatooist!!!....Good Luck!
