how many toes should a male shelties have on one foot?

4 - plus or minus dewclaws on both the front and back feet. Some breeders have them removed from puppies when they are very young...my dogs have all their dewclaws and are just fine:)

Five on the front and usually 5 on the back. They can also have multiple dewclaws. If there isn't a bone in it and it flops around have it removed when neutering so it doesn't get caught on something and tear off.

They should have 4 on each foot.
