I am sure everyone here as had a moment in life when they've found themself thingking; Why me? Why this? Why now?

Have you ever looked back on that moment and thought about what it ment, wondered if it had a deeper meaning?

After some reflection this is what I've come up with.

There is a reason for everything that happens in life. Sometimes you are ment to learn something from the experience. Other times you are ment to teach someone else something. You may find yourself in the same situation twice but I think there are several reasons for that. You may not have learn't the lesson you were ment to the first time around. Or there may have been another lesson to be learnt from the situation that you were not able or ready to grasp before. Maybe the lesson was for someone else and you were simply the best person to teach it or the best example to use.

The lesson in any given situation maybe hard to spot but there is always one there. At least I think so.

Nicely said. I agree with you completely. I also like how you didn't throw something in like "God had this happen to me" or god makes us go through things. I believe we are all here for a reason as well and things do happen for reasons. But, because of the decisions we make and the consequences of those decisions.

Wow! You put that into great words. Yes I have had that feeling and I think you have the correct idea.I thought about that too and came up with pretty much the same thinking. I use to never believe in things being predetermined. I was thinking all things were free will. Now I think some few are free will and most are predetermined for us. We just have to look at the order in chaos, like the order in water falling, to see that over time, most patterns repeat.
Thanks for sharing this!

I am used to accept things as they happen. I firmly believe that there is a reason for everything that happens and that everything will eventually make sense to me. Sometimes I feel a bit lost, that is true, but I find comfort in the thought that it must be that way in order for me to learn something about myself or about life.
Many bad things happened to me, as I guess to most of us living. I lost some people who were very close to me and I made some really stupid mistakes. But I am glad that it all happened as it did as it made me much stronger person.
And when I encounter somebody who is going through the same things I went through I see it as my chance to guide, help and teach.

Yes and Amen. I have "gone around the same path" many times before I learned my lesson. Life is a learning experience. Some lessons have been very hard for me to learn.

I believe that everything happens for a reason, too; I've almost drowned 3 times and almost been attacked by sharks once; had cancer (now in remission), had almost my entire family (except my 18 year old son) die...and yet, I'm still here....are there different paths I wish I had taken, a few, but for the most part am OK with where I am...The "constant" of change is inevitable and welcome (for the most part)!

You are correct. Every experience should be a learning experience. You don't see very many people touching fire twice. Even simple things should be learning experiences or could be preparing you for something you have no idea is coming.

Of course there's something for us to learn in every situation we encounter. Everything is for a reason and everything works for good to those who love the Lord.

You are exactly right. Sometimes the lessons are for someone else. Sometimes they are for you. God in his wisdom will keep putting us at the foot of that mountain until we address the problem.

I NEVER ASKED- IT IS A PRIVILEDGE FROM GOD TO ENTRUST SUCH A DEMANDING JOB - I FEEL HE PICKED THE PERFECT PARENTS FOR MY BABY!NOT EVERY ONE CAN HANDLE IT. AT TIMES I QUESTION MYSELF -THEN I SEE PPL WHO DONT RELIZE HOW LUCKY THEY ARE OR IMPATIENT PPL & I KNOW HE IS BEST OFF W/ ME
