I have prescription muscle relaxer pills for my Multiple Sclerosis, and capsules for pain. I have a caregiver stealing from me and need to fill my Rx bottles with look-a-likes and keep real in safe. The earlier winning answer to another similar Q was insulting as the link was to a band's cds ! If you can't help...don't mock another's situation ! There MUST be an online source !

Make sure you get a safe that is too heavy for the caregiver to pick up OR one that you can bolt to the floor otherwise the person will just take the safe. I wouldn't put any other pills out at all. Just get the safe and put your meds in there and make sure no one knows the combination but you and that it isn't written down anywhere. Why bother with look alikes?

Why don't you turn in the caregiver? It is very wrong for that person to be stealing your meds, and I believe you may help that person to stop their addiction and immoral actions, by catching and turning them in. If you just use placebo pills, they will surely catch on and then ravage your home looking for the real thing. By being upfront with them, you are doing the honorable thing and possibably helping them to see that they have a problem and you are fully aware of it. Otherwise, your actions are showing them it is alright to be dishonest and lie.

No need for ordering placebo pills. Just buy some off the shelf pills that look similar, or at least, look believeable. Ginko extract pills are good. Vitamins. Unlabeled "supplements" of any kind could work, really. Or, if you'd like revenge, laxatives. That sort of thing.

Report them to the agency. I had a room-mate that was stealing my pills. I had to get a lock box for them and do pill counts.

So, my suggestion to you is to lock them up and leave her tylenol. And if she asks where such and such pill is tell her locked away and that there were pills missing and the pill count wasn't matching to what you had taken. See how she reacts.

But, I think this needs to be reported to the agency and the police. I believe placebos are illegal for a company to make unless it is a part of a drug trial.

well what kind of pain killers are they? and why hasn't the caregiver been charged, is it for lack of proof? I don't believe that a drug manufacturer could supply any placebos , for the sole reason that some one is stealing yours, and that is a crime, and they would definetly want the police to become involved.

If i were you I would take legal action first
