The Republic of Ireland, with its capital Dublin

If you're referring to the Republic of Ireland, it's Dublin.

Ireland is actually in island off of Northern Europe and west of Great Britain, and is politically divided into two parts. the Southern 5 sixths of the island forms the "Republic of Ireland" (also called Eire), which has its capital at Dublin. The other sixth is "Northern Ireland" which is one of the Home Nations of the UK, the capital of which is Belfast. And just to make it more confusing, many people refer to the Republic of Ireland as just Ireland, because they're lazy.
