What does R.S.V.P stand for? I'm not sure what catigory to put this in so I hope it's in the right one!

RSVP is an abbreviation for the French phrase "Respondez S'il Vous Plait." In English, RSVP stands for "Reply Please!"

The general meaning of RSVP means "Please Reply". We provides you with wedding RSVP reply cards. But what the foremost question arises is what does RSVP literally means?

It's French for repondez s'il vous plait. It means please respond. In the USA it's often put on party invitations so the host will know how many people to expect at the party.

respond back please. the reason the letters don't match is because R.S.V.P is French and I don't know how to spell it that way.
