The Americans were mean and hateful to the Vietnam Veterans so when the Iraqi Veterans return with egg on their faces and eating crow will the Americans be mean to them too?

Our military personnel did not pick this war. It was horrible what people did to our dedicated men that returned from Vietnam. Certainly, draftees and volunteers that were defending our freedom did not deserve such treatment.
As you can see in the current news, terrorism is still a huge concern. We need our police, firemen, military people, security guards... We need these people to prevent these horrible situations. Let us hope that a World Trade Center does not happen again.
So put the blame where it belongs. Bush can take the HEAT. But don't put a lily peace-nik in his place. Put up a person with a PLAN. Good leadership is how American can be strong.

OF COURSE WE SHOULD!!! If you are an American, you have your freedom and rights because of what our service men and woman do 24/7/365. What happened to Vietnam Vets when they came back was dispicable. Think about it, they are the same people who are homeland and protecting you here! So you should be nice to the service men that are here in America your homeland, but yet treat the service men who were here protcting you, but just happened to get deployed to Iraq, like crap with no respect?? It's not the military men and womens fault if we 'lose' a war. They are out there fighting to protect your FREEDOM wether or not we are at war. Think about it. They are selfishlessly putting their life on the line, so you can write a stupid question like that. That is your freedom that they protect. If you can't be nice to a service person who has spent time in the sandbox, or anywhere they are deployed to, or stationed at, overseas or homeland, then you shouldnt be an American. Wether or not you support the war.. they are still our American sons and daughters, husbands and wives, moms and dads, brothers, sisters... just like you. And they are doing their job just like you do everyday. But 10xs harder and worse than you could ever imagine. Would YOU be willing to give your life for a fellow American?? Based on your question, I think not!! Thank God for our military men and women. Say thank you and shake their hand whenever you see a service man or woman or veteran! Thank them for proctecting you! Be proud to be an American and know that there are people out there WILLING TO BE KILLED FOR YOU! Now if you still think you should treat them with disrespect, I would be appalled that you still think you are an American.

I have seen quite a few of your questions. You are not funny, your are not cute, and you are not smart. Do you have any idea of what it takes in courage to do what they do. For or against the war is one thing. But the men over there are sent, they do a job, they do it well. They have courage and strength that you could not possibly understand.
I understand you trying to make a point and show how evil Bush and the Republicans are. But you should take some time to think before you go spout off. A little thinking will make you edit your self a little more, and make people, who agree and disagree with you, respect you just a little bit.

Just because they lost a war? At least they were fighting so if you want to throw eggs at ppl, throw it at adults that didnt go to war. Not that it accomplishes anything also.
Also, to the first post about wiping out all muslims because they are a death cult, what stopping you from wiping out christians too. Or wait, lets wipe out all athiests too because they dont believe in anything and are agents of the devil! Conflicts never solve the problem; it only forces one side to forcibly submit. People like you make me wonder why my vote as the same political weight as yours.

We can only hope Americans will be willing to foot the bill for the maimed and killed soldiers families. There are a lot of benefits promised servicemen and families that, in the past all to often have not materialized. Call it being kind, or keeping promises, we will have to wait and see.
