it always comes out too dark at first! Just wash is a few times a day for a while -it will lighten up with each wash. Sometimes blowing your hair dry or towel drying will lighten it even faster! Good Luck!

If it is just a couple shades too dark, don't fret. It will fade with washing. Or if it is a brown/red///get a high lite kit and put some streaks in it with a friends help as this makes it look more natural...

Look on the box of hair dye. There is a 1-800 number to call for assistance. They will tell you exactly what to do. Once I called them when my son's hair came out purple. We were talked through exactly how to fix this. It worked!

Use a clarifiing or detoxifying shampoo. It will remove some color. Color fades over a month or so. Wait and see what it will fade naturally to. Or go to a salon. Maybe add some highlights

try shampooing your hair with a clarifying shampoo mixed with a little baking soda. work it in good. you can do this a couple times and your hair color should lighten by at least one level of lightness.
do not put a lighter color on your hair hoping to make it better. color will not lift color, only bleach will.
wait a few days and see if you like the color (it will continue to lighten with each shampoo). if not, please see a professional color correction specialist.

If you have some money maybe it would be good to go to a salon so they can fix it for you. It's hard sometimes doing it yourself.
