The biggest difference between highschools and middle schools is the homework. In middle school you do not have too much homework. You maybe have an hour of homework a night. In highschool you easily have 3 hours of homework. I was pulling all nighters in highschool. It prepared me for the all nighters I would have to pull in college. That is the biggest difference I noticed between highschool and middle school.

Worse clique problems, more relationships and breakup problems... drama basically. Plus the teachers expect you to do alot more work. The good thing is that you have more options in the way of classes; so that is considered a plus i guess. Highschool is really something that you have to experience in order to understand. There's really no way to prepare for it.
