Usually it means that you dont see your lovers faults while the people around you may. For example they may see the fact that your lover may wear really thick glasses but you look past that and see the eyes behind the glasses and the person behind the looks.

well , i totally disagree coz umm if u r not wise enough to see where the relationship is going and u r blinded by the fact that u r attached to this person and want to spend ur entire life with him , it'll end up with a heartache which may cause u lots of damages concerning ur emotions , trusting people and u'll get into this long phase of not trusting men and the fear of approaching someone so that u won't be hurt AGAIN , this is why i just prefer to have my mind there right besides my heart while judging the person i'm in love with ... u know i used to be this romantic person who falls in love easily but as kelly clarkson says " because of you , i learned to play on the safe side so that i won't be hurt " . though many people would disagree with me , i still insist that we should act our age and not our shoe size .. this is why it's really important not to be blinded while loving someone so that we don't have to handle the awful consequences later ...

Love is blind for the reason love does not see color, race. I am head over heels in love with my soon to be husband. He has a pot belly and he not the hottest guy in the world but to me he is the hottest guy I know, I took my chances on him and I am so very happy and in love with him so very much. So that is why I agree with the statement the love is blind

Sure is. And introducing sex into a relationship too soon also clouds the thinking.
Many red flags go up but we CHOOSE not to see them because we are soooooooo in love. Love is a wonderful state. That euphoric feeling. Who wants to spoil that? But it is the wise person that indeed steps back & takes a good hard look at what is really happening and what that other person really is doing. It would save ALOT of heartache in the future.

I think "love is blind" can mean that you are blind to the other person's faults. Sometimes they can be treating you badly and you don't notice because you love them. Or maybe they're ugly but you can't see that 'cause you love them. :)
I don't think love is always blind, though. I know/see my boyfriend's faults because we were friends long before we went out, and I love him in an un-blind way.
So: I disagree!

I agree to a certain extent. When you have true deep feelings of love for a person, things that might bother you if you didn't have those feelings don't seem so important...so you are blind to them.

That is a tough one. People will believe what they want when it comes to love. I've seen some weird answers when it comes to questions regarding love. I believe that love is a sacrifice, not blind.

Love truly is blind....When you love someone you don't see their faults, even if their faults are damaging to the lifestyle you want to live.

Love is blind because we intentionally overlook the other persons flaws.
