Gloria, with all due respect, if there is a god, he would hate no one. just because you have studied the bible, you are interpreting it the way you want, doesn't mean that's what it means.
that's the problem with religion and religious people...they always think they are right.
besides, if god does hate other religions and faiths....he's closer to satan then you may care to admit.

I don't really follow a religion, but recently, after having conversations with a few others, people have been telling me that a lot of the beliefs I have could be some form on Paganism. So maybe, I don't know. But I tend to feel that all religion is a myth. I have faith, I believe in God or a higher power, but watching others who blindly follow in a religion and seeing the things they do and say, makes me keep my distance.

I would choose one that advocates:
* Beautifying the earth and not destroying it (Genesis 1:28, Revelation 11:18);
* Love toward all people (Leviticus 19:18, Deuteronomy 10:19, Zechariah 8:17, Matthew 5:43-44, 22:39, Romans 13:10, Galations 5:14, James 2:8);
* Care for animals (Proverbs 12:10)
* Justice (Exodus 23:2, Deuteronomy 10:17-19, 16:19, 27:19, Matthew 23:23)
* Mercy (Exodus 34:7, Numbers 14:18, Deuteronomy 5:10, Matthew 5:7, 9:13, 23:23)
* A God who teaches and abides by all these things and more:
** That we strive for perfection (Matthew 5:48, Hebrews 6:1)
** That we live long in happiness and abundance (Deuteronomy 8:6-9, 12:7, 30:9, 32:43, 2 Corinthians 9:8-9)
*** That we live eternally with him in paradise (Matthew 19:29, John 10:28, 17:2)
In short, I would choose to be a Christian.

Buddhism. The only religion where the main subject is not how 'morally' or immorally other people live. The buddhists do not make up rules of who you can marry or what you can wear or what you can do as a man or a woman. Everybody is equal, you are not a woman who's got to be submissive to the husband but a spiritual being. The buddhist religion does not want to convert anybody to buddhism, they do not start war and terrorism over anything. Buddhists want to just get on with focusing on their own spiritual journey rather than living in each other's faces. Nobody will be sent to burn in hell, nobody is threatened like that. If you choose not to be a buddhist nothing horrible will happen to you. The most peace-loving, easy-going, chilled out, nature loving, humane and spiritual religion there is on this planet. People are lovely and even if you are not buddhist they'll still respect you and have a few kind words for you and a smile. They do understand that people have strong emotions and becuase of these emotions they are in pain. People are in pain and they want to take out this pain on each other. Buddhists don't feel like this because they know that they are in pain because of their emotions but instead of hurting others they focus on getting their own emotions under control. I wish I was as strong as a true Buddhist.

None. Because people are what makes all religions stupid and counterproductive. Until man decides to be more conscience of his own tendencies toward using ANYTHING to compete and vie, I would rather not participate in any group or organization that has anything at all to do with human beings...
When people stop caring and decide to leave. I will chose Messianic Judaism. Because it was the point of the birth, death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ to bridge the distances between the old testament laws and the new testament amendments. The point of His life was to for fill the covenant. To bring together the Jews and the Gentiles or Non believers!
Be it a story or a true account of the life of a man... It makes sense to me and I CHOSE to believe it. I just wont participate in any of it outside my head, heart and home until people decide to evolve! Oh the Irony!

I've recently joined this new group called the Order of Rovin. Mainly its about how we are all living gods that have not yet realized our potential, and the founder, a man named Rovin, is actually from the future. He achieved full awareness and became do powerful that he was god like. So he's looking to reach out to all people in all times to help make them aware of their own godhood, and that the Abrahamic faiths of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are false doctrines that enslave us. It's possible that a person could go through hundreds of lifetimes before they realize their own godhood. It's a comforting group to be a part of since all of the other members hold the same contempt for modern religion as I do, and we all have a deep sense of respect for one another. What's more is they teach you first and foremost how to actually respect and love yourself.

I have been studying the Bible for 25 years and it seems, judging by what I've read here, that no one respects the Creator feelings in all of this. he made our earth he made us and is given no praise for it, Without him you wouldn't have the right to choose anything.I follow the Bible, NOT the churches, he condemns them and all other religions except those who follow his rules and paganism isn't one of them he hates them.

Catholicism or Orthodox Christian. They have more depth and don't just throw out Tradition just because. They also don't reject the possibility of people going to heaven simply because of their religion.
It also doesn't restrict the scientific to its beliefs, but rather uses science to defend God.
